One length of tubular metal bends underneath to form a sled base running front to rear, which gives the chair a low, stable stance on restaurant and cafe floors. The front edge of the seat curves down to take pressure off the legs during longer meals, and the wide oblong backrest adds support without visual bulk. Rounded shaping throughout softens the thin metalwork. It is 20 inches wide, 19.75 deep and 30 inches tall, a scale built for tight table spacing. Twenty chairs minimum.
