Daily wipe-downs eat cheap lacquer. Commercial finishes are rated for cleaning chemicals: it's a one-line spec that saves you refinishing in year two.
Chairs ship bulky, so freight is a real share of the cost. Quotes include it.
Testing and construction. Commercial chairs are built and rated for constant daily use: reinforced frames, contract-grade foam and fabric, finishes that tolerate cleaning chemicals. A residential chair in a restaurant usually fails at the joints within the first year, and it voids most insurance expectations for public seating.
Most programs we supply start making sense around 10–20 chairs. Bigger orders unlock better unit pricing, but you don't need a 200-seat dining room to buy commercial-grade.

For a full-service restaurant, most of our quotes land between $60 and $220 per chair depending on material, upholstery, and volume. Below that range, something's been cut, usually the frame or the foam.
